Why Choose Water Wise
Wrongly assessing and managing the risk from scalding can increase the risk from Legionella bacteria. And fitting a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) is not always the answer. Our water industry approved professionals can help you assess and manage the risk.

Legal Requirements
The Building Regulations require that a TMV valve is fitted to a bath and the Water Regulations require that a mixing valve is fitted to a shower. Outside of these requirements a comparative assessment of the risk of scalding against the risk of infection is required.

Remote Monitoring
TMV valves should only be fitted when there is an increased scalding risk. TMV valves should not usually be fitted to mixed outlets. Should be fitted within two meters of an outlet. Require regular monitoring and inspections with maintenance where required
